Meta has introduced Code Llama, an AI model that can create code

LinkedIn Rolls Out Brand Partnership Tags

Users are now seeing a new Brand Partnership toggle in their post creation options, which, when activated, adds a “Brand Partnership” tag to the top of your update, just below the username.

What does that mean?

LinkedIn’s been working to provide more creator tools to help platform influencers, build their audience and influence. This means that brands will also want to work with relevant industry influencers in the app to secure endorsements and exposure to more targeted groups.

Meta Launches Updated WhatsApp for Mac App, with Updated Video Calling Features

Meta has launched an updated WhatsApp desktop app for Mac users.

The main addition to the WhatsApp for Mac app is expanded group video calling, with users now able to make calls with up to 8 people, and up to 32 participants for audio chats.

That’s not all. WhatsApp’s been expanding on its video options, adding screen-sharing and many more improvements to build on its core messaging functionality.

Threads has seen a decline from its initial launch, based on the latest usage stats

Thread’s daily active user count has dropped by 70% since its launch, it’s been reported that the data.ai downloads have slowed significantly. It has been predicted that Meta’s real-time news app is destined for failure.

Meta is experimenting with a range of different personas in its new AI chatbot tools, which will soon be made available in various elements of Facebook, Messenger and Instagram

Meta is experimenting with a range of different personas in its new AI chatbot tools, which will soon be made available in various elements of Facebook, Messenger and Instagram.

The personas would range from re-creations of historical figures for example; Abraham Lincoln to more stereotypical characters like a surfer that provides travel advice.

Elon is at it again!

Musk announced that ‘X’ will be removing the ‘block’ function within the app.

It has recently been shut down as it is a violation of the app policies.

Quoted “If the ability to block users was to be removed, X would be in violation of the policies of the App Store as well as the Google Play Store. Potentially, this could lead to X being removed from these platforms.”
