5:16 – Threads is now rolling out a new feature, with users getting access to an edit option, which will enable you to edit your post for up to five minutes after publishing. Alongside that, they are also testing voice notes within the app.

08:07 – X will allow users to view and comment on articles as an expert.

09:21 – Meta is expanding broadcast channels’ availability and is also bringing it to Facebook and Messenger. Creators and public figures with Facebook pages will now be able to send messages, including photos, videos and voice notes, to their community.

13:56 – TikTok is looking to improve accessibility in the app by implementing auto captions by default on all videos, as of next month.

16:09 – A new report from ‘Market Pulse Rankings’ for Q3 has revealed the top 10 apps for 2023. Threads hit the number 1 spot, followed by TikTok and then Instagram. The top spot apps for consumer spends is TikTok, followed by YouTube then Tinder surprisingly!

18:50 – Capcut, the ByteDance-owned video editing app that’s the company’s second to hit $100 million in consumer spending after TikTok, is now expanding into business tools. Capcut for Business prioritises tools that help marketers, brands, small businesses, and creators generate ads and branded content. These tools will be made available across the CapCut app for desktop, mobile, and tablets.
