LinkedIn Tip: Did you know that you can no longer schedule discussions into a LinkedIn Group?

That is a lie. The title really should have said, “Did you know that you can only schedule discussions into a LinkedIn group if you are paying LinkedIn for the privilege”.

Back in June 2017, LinkedIn removed the API for external software such as HootSuite, Buffer, eClincher, TweetDeck, etc. to be able to schedule posts into LinkedIn groups. At the time of writing this tip, you are still able to use external software into LinkedIn personal pages and company pages, but the question is, for how long?

How to schedule posts into LinkedIn groups

If you upgrade to a premium package on LinkedIn, you will be able to schedule your posts into LinkedIn groups, and also have the added feature of being able to see when your LinkedIn group are most active so that you can schedule your post for the optimum time.

If you are running a very active and vocal group then this feature may be worth the investment.
