Facebook Tip: Finally you can “mute” certain notifications!

Did you know that you can now mute “types” of notifications in Facebook?

I love this idea! Having the ability to mute notifications throughout the day to help with my productivity is a fabulous idea.  Go to notifications > settings to choose what you get notified about.

Mind you, when I was looking at the notification settings, I did make a few alterations, especially on page and group notifications. How on earth did I become a member of the Lollipop Fan Society??

One feature that I did not know existed was the “be notified about new pages that have been created in your local area” – if you are a local business then this is well worth clicking “on” (go to notifications > settings > on Facebook – it’s at the bottom)
