Have your grabbed your Twitter Code yet?

Twitter codes were launched early December 2016. They work in a similar way to SnapCodes using QR code technology.

Users who have the feature enabled are able to set up a QR code for adding through their Settings menu. Users are then meant to take a snapshot and share it via social or any other method they wish.

Will they take off? I am not 100% convinced! The reason they work on SnapChat is that you can not search for users on this platform, unlike Twitter. It is quicker to do a quick Twitter search to find a user than it is to launch the feature, scan the code and then follow. But that is just my opinion. Time will tell!
