We’re Partnering with local Council To Support Local Businesses
We’ve launched a joint initiative with South Northamptonshire Council to support local businesses and equip them with the skills they need to adapt to the impact of Covid-19. The good news is we can also open this up to those of you within our database even if you’re not in the South Northants area.
In recent months, many company owners have had to modify or diversify their business to ensure their survival. There has also been an increasing number of people starting up their own business as a result of redundancy, with the downtime creating an opportunity for reflection and re-evaluation of working lives and ambitions.
Free Webinars
To help local businesses, a series of six free webinars has been scheduled, with each looking at a different aspect of online marketing. They include how to develop an online marketing strategy; the basics of Facebook; an introduction to Twitter; how to create engaging content for social media and a beginner’s guide to paid social advertising.
In an interview about why we were getting involved with the programme Christina said “As the second lockdown comes into force, and with the key Christmas season approaching, we wanted to look at how we could support the fantastic businesses in our local area at this tricky time.”
“What the pandemic has shown is that businesses need to be agile with their marketing and ready to adapt to changing circumstances. This trend will continue as we head into 2021 and our webinars will show business owners how to do just that.”
South Northants is a great destination
Councillor Stephen Clarke, SNC portfolio holder for economy and regeneration, said: “South Northants is an attractive destination and we have many young and more established businesses across the district.
“As we enter a month-long lockdown, we want to do all that we can as the local authority to support our local businesses during these challenging times and to help them to adapt and evolve to an ever-changing environment.
“It is more important than ever that your business has a digital presence, especially if your physical store has to be closed, and these webinars can help you achieve that”.
