Twitter Tip – Do you have a hashtag in your Twitter bio?

When we are conducting a health check on our clients’ Twitter accounts, we always look for one or two hashtags in the biography of their profile.

What sort of things should you #?

> Location
> Industry sector
> Keywords

What should you NOT hashtag

Please do not hashtag words that people would not really search for. For example, it is unusual for people to search for words such #Jobs #Business #Marketing #Food #Blogger

So before you go ahead and start adding a # in front of a keyword, think to yourself “would people be searching for this?”.
