Never Regurgitate Other People’s Content

Never regurgitate other people's contect When Google Penguin was introduced, this had serious implications on duplication of content. It is too easy to copy someone else’s content and then add a little note at the bottom that credits back the original author – this tactic is now frowned upon and will have a detrimental effect on your Google rankings.

But what happens when you have a guest blogger producing an article for you? How do you know if they have not just copied content from another source?

I would highly recommend registering with Grammarly.com. This software enables you to check for plagiarism. We use the rule that if the article is less that 20% unoriginal then it is good to go. Any more than 20% then we bat it back to the author and ask them to make changes.

Do you check for plagiarism?

You’re so interesting! I don’t believe I’ve read through a single thing like that before. So great to discover somebody with some original thoughts on this subject. Seriously.. thank you for starting this up. This web site is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with some originality.
