Do Not Add A Public List For Your Clients

If you are not using lists on Twitter then you are making a big mistake. Lists are the easiest way to manage a Twitter account and the most effective way to cut out all of the noise.

When we work through a social media strategy with a new client, I am always astounded how many have either not added any lists, or, worse still, they have a list for their customers and competitors but they are open to the public.

I urge you now to double check and make sure that your clients and competitors lists on Twitter have a little padlock next to them that signifies that this is a private list.
