Did you know that text within images increases conversions by 12%?

In January 2015 I noticed that the gurus in the social media industry were adding text to their images. If it’s good enough for them, then it’s good enough for me. I thought I would trial it, and see if it really makes a difference.

So mid January we introduced a process to add text, and brand our images. We decided that the images and the way our blogs were presented were just as important as the content of the article.

We saw a dramatic increase in our click through rates almost instantly, and the traffic from social media sources has increased by 12%.
