We eat lots of cake at Green Umbrella.   Well, actually we eat lots of cake, biscuits, bacon sarnies and sweets!  We also sing a lot (and if you are lucky enough, you may catch Emily in one of her super creative moods as she creates another musical masterpiece!) – yes, she is famous for the “elevator song”!

Why am I telling you all this?

We are on the hunt for more staff, but it is important that the new recruits can fit in well with the team at GUHQ as the newbies will be working in our open-plan office in Daventry. We are now offering more and more support to our clients in addition to our social media services; they are also looking for blogging, email marketing, design, print, and a whole range of other marketing services, so it is time to up our game. We are not necessarily looking for people that have worked in marketing or social media previously, but we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are perhaps just starting out on their career path and want to learn from the best.

Christina – Deputy Commander!

Variety is the spice of life! No two days are the same, so there’s no danger of getting caught up in repetitive tasks. It’s amazing how many industries I can talk about as if I’m an expert! As a team we work hard and laugh hard – even the bad days are good days.

Mark –  Print and Design Manager

I’ve been part of the Green Umbrella team from when Julia first started the company back in 2010. It’s been great to see the company grow from those beginnings to where it is today, and to develop my own skills and knowledge along the way. I can honestly say I’ve not worked with a better bunch of people…even if they are all a bit mad

Jane – Production Coordinator

It’s a great place to work, and even after five years, I still learn something new every day. The ever-changing nature of the business we are in means no two days are the same and we’re constantly evolving. We have a great team here and everyone gets on really well. We work hard, but we always make time for a giggle.

Emily – Social Mediator

I am the newest member at the Green Umbrella Marketing office; however, everyone has made me feel very welcome and an integral part of the team. I have learnt so much since my first day at the beginning of November, and I can definitely say that every day is a school day! It is a very hard-working office, but we always make time to have a laugh. I’m very excited for new opportunities and to see where this ever-growing company will take me.

It’s great being in the Green Umbrella office, I get to have my photo taken with all our visitors, but I can never get a word in edgeways!
