Facebook video – top tips for uploading your videos


You may be aware that uploading “native” video to Facebook gives you much better reach, than posting a YouTube link. But did you know about the other little options that are available when uploading videos?

These are the things to consider when uploading a native video:-

  1. Add a description
  2. Customise a thumbnail with a strong call to action
  3. Add a call to action link ie: Learn more, book now – to an external website link/sales landing page
  4. Post now or schedule your video for a later date.

Once the video is posted you can then add your video to a playlist. Unfortunately (unlike YouTube) you can not add your video to a playlist at the time of creation – come on Facebook!
