Are you Ltd print legal?

Did you know that if you are trading as a Limited Company then as well as the normal rules about Company Returns and Accounts there are also things to do regarding stationery and other printed materials.

You should show your company’s name on all company documents, publicity and letters.

For business letters, order forms and websites you must also include:

• Your company’s registered number and the registered office address
• Where the company is registered (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland)
• The fact that it’s a limited company (usually by spelling out the company’s full name including ‘Limited’ or ‘Ltd’)

An email would also normally count as a business letter so be sure to add your registered details to your email footers as well.
